Shanea N. Taylor is the director of the award winning production The Neon
Man and Me. Her second home these days is the Virginia Commonwealth
University campus where she’s completing her MFA in Theater Pedagogy. (In
English, that means she’ll most likely end up on the faculty of a one of the most
prestigious theater schools in the country teaching directing and acting).

But, with a growing client base for her new talent management agency, she’ll
most likely have to choose where to focus her creative energy.

Growing up in Richmond’s south side (Chesterfield) and a proclaimed cheesy
horror flick lover, Taylor’s been a past participant in the Richmond Shakespeare
Festival and is currently hard at work as the assistant director at the VA Science
Museums run of
Shakespeare and Galileo. For more about Shanea, read Seven
Essentials every Actor Should Pack for the Stage.

scares the shit out of
you. Acting scares the
shit out of me."
