What is the “2010 Core Values Tour”?
Core Values Tour 2010 is a mobile,
interactive, program meant to promote
honesty, respect, responsibility, and
accountability for teens, pre-teens, and
families.
The program is scheduled to visit 1
school and 1 library within each of the
95 counties within Virginia during the
next year and is intended to reach over
100,000 students.
What will it do for kids?
Although 2010 Core Values Tour encourages teens & pre-teens (grades 6-12) to reach for
more in the areas of personal and academic achievement, the production empowers kids to
understand and later recall information about the four core values when they need it most
(when they are with their peers and away from adult supervision). The stories and song within
the production give each of the four core values a context that makes the information
meaningful and memorable.
