October 14, 2005
Richmond playwright Slash Coleman will meet with classes at Patrick
Henry High School in Ashland, VA on October 18, 2005, discussing The
Neon Man and Me, his new one-man-show, before he begins his national
tour. A continuation of many free speaking engagements given to area
schools, Coleman’s talk will include a mini-performance, tips for
succeeding in high school, and anecdotes about his life as an author,
playwright and performer.
Richmond Magazine recently awarded an Editor's
Pick to the production. It has also received
coverage from National Public Radio, The
Richmond Times Dispatch, and Radford
University Magazine.
A Richmond native, Coleman is a novelist, short story writer and author of the

working in his family’s business. The Neon Man and Me will debut in the area at
